Caitlin & Mia - Waverly Glen

We are really trying to catch up with the long overdue photos of the girls! We went up to the Waverly Glen yesterday to try and snap a few more formal photos of the girls. We weren't sure whether we would get any photos though because it was seconds after being out of the car that Mia decided to go face first into the parking lot! We did scrape our knee up a bit and got a good scrape and bump on on forehead - thank goodness our hair covered it up. She was a champ and brushed herself off and kept going!

We got great pictures of each of the girls in front of the waterfall. We tried to get some photos of both Caitlin and Mia together but Mia really wanted her own show. Boy we are going to have fun in a few more years when she really starts giving Caitlin a run for the money! We got a couple of cute ones of them together though - hopefully it will please the grandparents!

After the photos we went off to play a while and enjoy the beautiful spring day and of course Mom and Dad couldn't put the camera down just yet. Both Caitlin and Mia love to swing and our new found love rocking on the animal teeter totter things. Mia really got a kick out of the teeter totter and if you watch the slide show you see her head bobbing, her hair flying and her mouth wide open! They were too funny to not share them!

Enjoy them as much as we had taking them! http://sentimentsphoto.com/blog/050608/

May 4th Hanging with our Girls

The weather in NY has been unbelievable. Caitlin & Mia both love to be outside and doing a thousand different things. Mia thinks she can do everything that big sister does and that sometimes proves to be interesting and scary. Some of the first pictures are of our Mia playing with Harley after her morning nap. Thank goodness Harley is such a laid back Lab otherwise we would have a 3 fingered little girl. We spent the day at the Art Festival and came back home to spend some quality time hanging at the house, riding the bike and other toys. But Mia has found the best playground is the driveway of stones. We finally got Caitlin to stop picking the rocks out of the driveway and now Mia thinks they are Fruity Pebbles or something.

Hope you enjoy...

Caitlin's Birthday Party at the Studio

Caitlin turned the BIG 5 on April 18 and she had her party a couple of days later at the studio. We did the usual...pizza, cake, presents, games, played etc. We had a old fashioned popcorn machine and a cotton candy machine. Although, we didn't really get to enjoy the cotton candy - we flipped the switch and smoke came rolling out. We almost set the alarms off at the studio. We tried and tried and it just didn't work.

We had quite the turnout for Caitlin's first real party....we had around 5 girls and some family and friends stopped by. The fun part for the girls - getting dressed up in their play clothes and taking some pictures! They all thought they were princesses.

So enjoy some highlights of the day and the quick snapshots of the girls in their dress up clothes!
